pythagorean theorem requires
a right triangle and fires
with an 'a' side and a 'b' side reaching
over toward the taller 'c' side

'a' squared plus 'b' squared
the sum equals 'c' squared

opposite the angle ninety degrees wide
the hypotenuse likes saying it is the 'c' side
the other two keep stretching they don't mind
they're crafting copper etchings they're just fine

'a' squared plus 'b' squared
the sum equals 'c' squared

isosceles it could be
but 'a' and 'b' don't worry about whether they're twins

The Invisible Cities San Francisco, California

We play loud and soft, guitar-y and loopy, dreamy and dancy, and tend to shift gears from song to song. Among other things, we are fans of The Breeders, Yo La Tengo, and the sprawl of the white album. And The Expanse.
